Meet Fern Shamis

 

Fern works at Brandeis University in the Office of Technology Licensing as a program coordinator. Previously she was administrative director at the Lesson One Foundation, a non-profit organization, providing social-emotional consultation to schools locally and nationally. While at Lesson One, she co-authored the PeaceZone, a peacemaking curriculum published by Research Press. Fern has a Bachelor's degree in Education from University of Rhode Island and a Master's in Education Administration from Lesley University. She currently lives in Framingham, MA with her husband Fran and son Jack.
